My son would have just turned 10 when we went to Denmark together. We went to Sweden as well that trip. 

I took Jimini to the national museum in Copenhagen to see the viking boat. He was more impressed by "Ripley's Believe it or not."

We spent another afternoon at the Tivoli Gardens, one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. They had a wooden rollercoaster & "The Demon" rollercoaster. Not my scene but Jimini loved it, I will never forget that light in his blue eyes when he realised we were going to ride both!

That wasn't the last occasion I took him on a rollercoaster but that memory is one of my favourites.

I kept a coin from that trip. I have a bag of foreign coins from different trips. This one had a hole in the middle & a Viking spiral design on one side. That's the coin in the centre of this piece.
